Coin packs are consumable. PawCatch Supporter is a one-time entitlement and can be restored from the Store.
Use report and block controls for unwanted players or photos. See exactly how catches, locations, and analytics are handled.
PawCatch is offline-first, but cloud, social, StoreKit, and push features still depend on a working network and their providers.
Guest play keeps the collection and progress on this device. Sign in with Apple creates or opens a PawCatch cloud account for supported sync, friends, leaderboards, trading, gifting, shared albums, map views, and remote notifications. Removing the app can remove guest data, so guest play should not be treated as a backup.
Live camera frames and pet cutout processing happen on the device. PawCatch's current sync path does not upload the raw full camera frame. If you are signed in, the generated transparent pet cutout and catch details may sync to private cloud storage. Photo-bearing catches use moderation status before they become available in supported friend-facing views.
After your first catch, PawCatch can ask whether you want to enable automatic map pins. Location permission is requested only after you choose that feature or manually pin a catch. If enabled, foreground location can be checked for future catches while you use the app until you turn the setting off. Before a coordinate is queued or uploaded, PawCatch snaps it to an area of about 50 metres.
PawCatch keeps usable local data when a refresh cannot complete. Check the connection, reopen the app, and try again. If it continues, email support with the app version, the screen you were using, and the exact message. Do not include your Apple password, payment card number, or authentication tokens.
Supported transfers are between accepted friends. A trade exchanges one card for one card; a gift sends one card without receiving another. When accepted, ownership of the catch and its cutout moves to the recipient and the custom pet nickname is cleared. Completed transfers are final inside PawCatch and have no cash or marketplace value.
PawCatch Supporter is a one-time, non-consumable purchase and can be restored with Restore Purchases in the Store. Coin packs are consumable and Apple does not restore them like permanent entitlements. If Apple shows a charge but the item has not appeared, avoid buying it again, relaunch PawCatch, use Restore Purchases for Supporter, and contact support with non-sensitive purchase details.
Notifications are optional. PawCatch may schedule a local reminder on the device. Signed-in players who enable notifications may also register an Apple push token for friend, trade, gift, and leaderboard notices. You can turn notifications off in PawCatch Settings and in iOS Settings.
Use the action menu on a supported player, leaderboard entry, or friend photo to report or block. Reports create a private moderation record. Blocking limits supported social interactions and shared views; a block may not be reversible inside the app. Contact support if you blocked someone by mistake or need to report an urgent safety concern.
Open Journal โ Settings โ Legal & Privacy and choose Delete Account. A signed-in deletion asks you to reauthenticate with Apple before requesting removal of the PawCatch cloud account and account-linked app data. Completed trades are not reversed, and Apple keeps its own purchase history. Guest deletion removes PawCatch data stored on the device.
Email PawCatch support with the app version, device model, screen name, and a short description of what happened.
Never send passwords, full payment-card details, private Apple credentials, or Supabase session tokens.
